Jadranko Ferko was born in Zagreb 14.02.1962 year. He attended primary school in Dubrava where stands out with cartoonish drawing portraits and strip ”Zdipi i Kidni ”.
Further education continues in high school Vladimir Nazor in Vrbovec where he participates in establishing the school magazine ” Koraci” , the regulation of wall newspapers and published caricatures in the “Komuni ”.

The third and fourth grade, he attended the high school of applied arts in Zagreb, publishes comic books in the “Polet” and “Student Journal”.
The path to professional painting began in 1982 the first solo exhibition in Vrbovec, and continued in renowned venues all over the Croatian.
Achievements that are extremely noteworthy are paintings Way of the Cross in Sesvetski Kraljevec on which the published the book under the same name and the altars of St.. Rok and St. Katarina in Petrinja, and recall and the series of paintings’ ‘Clowns and friends” and cycle ” Biker ‘. He is noted for opus of melancholy dead nature where the common motiv is violin.
Till now he has staged 22 solo and 150 group exhibitions.

He has participated in hundreds of art colonies, many of them international, and in some he is head and organizer.
